As a public service report of the School Bus Driver Video Blog for the general good of all the drivers in the world, this is a notice that things do not change.
The above video tells of a shortage that has been going on as long as there has been a need of students getting through trraffic or traveling long distances to school.
School Bus Driver Video Blog is for sure one of the few places drivers can show off their ride. To get things started. I have put in a couple of pictures from around the world that are intended to show you that there are school buses all around the world and our drivers although lowly paid take pride in their job expanding it to the buses they drive.

This came across my notice today and I thought it was a perfect fit for School Bus Driver Video Blog and had to have put it on.
It is not what you would call the multi- million production BUT then as School Bus Drivers we are happy to cover our costs of gas to get to work recently.
So here you have it, a YOUTUBE Video: Bus Driver Song by Rahel, singer/songwriter and school bus driver.

CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER from COOKS.COM
Great to do and I had fun doing it as you can see by the video. I have made three batches as of this writing and they have gone fast. I did buy some proper jars and gave them as gifts. Strange thing though, no one said they didn’t want or didn’t like Apple Butter as they got them. Or could it have been they didn’t expect it from me?

CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER from COOKS.COM
5 quarts finely chopped apples
4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. cinnamon
Fill a 5 quart crock pot heaping full with finely chopped apples. (Tart
apples are best.) Drizzle 4 cups sugar (or less, depending upon sweetness
of apples), 4 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon cloves and 1/4 teaspoon
salt, over the apples. Cover. (Lid may not fit tightly at start, but
apples will shrink as cooked.) Begin cooking on high, then lower heat and
cook all day until thick and dark color. Stir occasionally. Place in small
peanut butter jars, cool and freeze.
And I said above they make great gifts. (A small amount goes a long way with dispatch. SHHHH!!)
Enjoy (as I have), Brother Beno, Cheep Cook and Bottle Washer
And if you would Please, just slip a little down and hit a bookmark for this page so others can find it easier. Thanks, Bro. Beno

- Susan Carrick-Mc Connell,
School Bus Driver
Susan is the resident poet at the Independence, Missouri school district bus barn and was asked to read one of her poems for the drivers on the last meeting of the school year. I was there recording in, and that’s how I happened to get this video that you can view. Be in the last meeting I was also asked to tell stories which are on this blog, but I made a mess of on that day. So please feel free to listen because what she has to say does relate well to a driver’s first day. Not to mention the years that follow. So enjoy.

When School Bus Driver Video Blog put out the call for stories to go on the blog it turns out that a lot of people don’t want to be videoed telling their stories. But prefer to have them told nonetheless. They then gave them to me written out so that I could then read them myself. Now, I’m not a pushy type to get people to show up on camera, so I decided that I would go ahead and read the stories on camera for them.
This particular collection of stories that I have here were given to me without any names on them. And rather than track them down to find out who gave me the story. I decided to just put them as a category all their own. As you notice I titled it ‘Unknown Driver Stories 1′, because I figure there will be more. This allows people to not give names places or details, but I can at least tell the stories for your entertainment. And if your looking for other kinds of stories you can go here http://www.FairyTaleStoriesBlog.com . Hope you enjoy, and more to come.

Bill Welliver, School Bus Driver
Bill is a driver that I met while on a field trip. We got into a discussion about the various things concerning driving a school bus and I found out that he has a special way of entertaining his HeadStart children with songs that he remembered from his past.
Not knowing how far into the past or from the what year. A song would come into his mind and he would sing it Then they would sing it and for sure it was an improvement over ‘The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round’ for untold rounds. So in this video Bill gives us an insight as to the songs he sings and how you can pick some to teach your HeadStart children.
